The name of our organisation is Ending Poverty in Uganda (EPU) 2. Your specific topic
The specific topic our group would be focusing on is the hunger and starvation of children in Rural Uganda. 3. The purpose- Why are you doing this action? We are trying to save starving children in Uganda because starving familys are selling their children and the children have no say. 4. The message- Why should people be informed about this issue? Approximately 25,000 people die each day of hunger while most of them are children. However, these children's death could have been easily avoided. With just a dollar a day, we could help save a life. Our group would want to raise awareness in our school community about this topic because we believe that as more people are aware of the problem, we can work together and save as many children as we can and "Make Poverty History."
5. A goal- make sure this is a project that can be done and hopefully continued Our main goal is to feed the starving children in these rough times and educate them so that they can later feed themselves. 6. A short-term plan for achieving your goal (keep it simple and don’t be too ambitious- again make sure you CAN actually do this) We would contact organizations such as OXFAM which supports the "support a child system" and get a certificate saying that we are raising fund for them.
